About the Author

They say that loneliness is perhaps the biggest challenge of our world. I see it a lot in my country, I have experienced it myself, and from what I understand, it’s universal. Even though people might be surrounded by people, the connection between two souls is missing. As I’m writing the Winter series and plotting new ones, I already see that my main characters feel left outside the community, drifting in a world of their own. Although alone, there is always a search for meaning and connection to something bigger.

The protagonist might be relentless and independent, but still she longs for the one. Secretly, she wants to find the one who understands her and whose loyalty goes beyond the mundane.

My stories might lack forceful persuasion and violent action, but the resilient female heroines all strive towards saving the world, one way or the other. A question that frequently crosses my mind is whether the world is already perfect – and everything that happens is supposed to happen – or whether it needs saving. And what does saving the world mean? Your vision of a perfect world will probably differ from mine. Do I even know what my version of a perfect world would look like? Well, one thing that I’m certain of is that we need clearer communication between individuals.

Despite being a true introvert myself, I feel the need to reach out and connect with people. I want to explore what a better world for all might look like. Have you seen a movie about the future where things a better? Have you read a book where Utopia is really working? There are so few images that come to my mind when I try to envision a happier future for the world, and that is what worries me. I think we need to concentrate on what we want instead of everything that could go wrong. Work on finding solutions.
